extended toolset

The Extended Toolset is a collection of tools and pages that gives access to many useful navigational and informational options. These options include a minimap, an autoupgrade build queue, the ability to keep an eye on your opponents, as well as their detailed history.

The Extended Toolset is available as a subscription service. More information is here.

The Minimap and Nav

When the Extended Toolset is enabled, this window appears below the Inventory on the main game screen.

It includes a jump-to-point box, ten customizable waypoint buttons, and a scrollable, clickable minimap showing the current political state of the game board.

Aide de Camp

The Aide de Camp screen includes three sections: the upgrade queue, the build reports, and the watchlist.

The upgrade queue allows you to leave orders for your empire to be executed while you are away. You can queue up individual buildings or entire building classes to be upgraded either once or completely, and arrange them so that the commands are executed in the correct order.

A feature of the upgrade queue is that if it cannot execute a command because of lack of resources, it will proceed to the next command and execute it only if the resources required by the second command do not overlap with that of the first.

For example, if command #1 is to "Upgrade One Fort at 11x25 Once", it would require Rare Metal, Rare Relic, and Gold. If you do not have the resources for that upgrade, it will proceed to the second command. If that command requires Rare Metal, Rare Relic, or Gold, the system will not try to execute it. If it does not require any of the resources, the system will make the attempt, then proceed to the next command.

The upgrade queue can hold an unlimited number of commands, and the command list is processed every pulse.

The middle screen shows the results of the upgrade queue over time.

The intelligence screen allows you to assign watchers to your opponents so you can track their actions. It will observe all battles that they are involved in, as well as keeping track of their military size down to the troop-type level, as well as the state of their military buildings.

This screen will tell you when a foe builds a Barn or begins upgrading it to a Stables. It will also count his pieces on the board to tell you when he gains or loses Spearmen, Cavalry, or other military units.

Opponent Intelligence

The Intelligence sheets show the tendencies and detailed statistics for a particular player over all the games they have completed.
